It is acceptable to replace existing sliding glass door, single hung, & double hung
window openings for the address listed above with PGT Systems units as follows:
1) S.G.D-"5570/2770 " impact/ vinyl sliding glass door has a Florida number NOA-
#17-0420.06. It has a+80 / -80 design pressure and has a large missile "D" approval
and HVHZ.
2) D.H. - The "DH 5560" pvc double hung window has a Florida number NOA-#17-
0630.10. The nominal wind speed is 132 mph and the ultimate wind speed is 170 mph.
It has a +80 /-80 design pressure and has a large missile "D" approval and HVHZ .
3) S.H. -The "SH 5500" pvc single hung window has a Florida number NOA-#17-
0630.05. The nominal wind speed is 132 mph and the ultimate wind speed is 170 mph.
It has a +65 /-70 design pressure and has a large missile "D" approval and HVHZ .
The actual building design pressures of address listed above in Zone 4 is +57.3 / -62.3
The building has a type 11 classification and exposure category "D" for the 6th Edition of
the FBC (2017). Worst case scenario has been calculated .
