There was a sticky note on the plan that referenced a roof permit number. Thus, how staff was able to decipher this was your project. As noted below, a renovation building permit must be applied for by a licensed commercial contractor as the property is considered commercial. The renovation work is separate from the roof permit. For your convenience, I have attached z copy of the application. The plans will be placed on hold until your contractor provides a permit application. You are correct that the Building Official, Carl Peterson, stated a plumbing permit is not required. Also, you do not need an electrical permit. In an effort to provide you with clear direction on what is required to abate the violations at the subject property, the following is required on the outstanding violations: 1. As more than 25% of the roof has been removed, a permit is required to replace the entire roof of the structure. (Per the Florida Building Code — 6th Edition (2017) — 706.1.1)
