1. THE PROJECT WAS DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODES:
1.1. FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING & EXISTING; 6TH EDITION; 2017, ASCE 7-10, ASO, &
AISC
2. DRAWING NOTES:
2.1. BEFORE ORDERING ANY MATERIALS OR DOING ANY WORK, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
VERIFY ALL MEASUREMENTS TO PROPERLY SIZE OR FIT THE WORK. NO EXTRA CHARGE
OR COMPENSATION WILL BE ALLOWED BY THE OWNER RESULTING FROM THE
CONTRACTOR'S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT.
2.2. DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT AND
ENGINEER BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK.
3. SECTIONS AND DETAILS:
3.1. ALL DETAILS, SECTIONS AND NOTES SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE INTENDED TO BE
TYPICAL AND SHALL APPLY TO SIMILAR SITUATIONS ELSEWHERE UNLESS OTHERWISE
SHOWN.
4. SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS AS REQUIRED. ALL SUBMITTALS SHALL BE CHECKED AND SIGNED BY
THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE DELEGATED ENGINEER.
5. IF ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS APPEAR IN THE DRAWING
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ENGINEER -OF -RECORD IN WRITING OF SUCH
OMISSIONS OR ERRORS PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK WHICH APPEARS IN QUESTION.
IN THE EVENT THE CONTRACTOR'S FAILING TO GIVE SUCH NOTICE, HE SHALL BE HELD
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESULTS OF ANY SUCH ERRORS OR OMISSIONS AND THE COST OF
RECTIFYING THE SAME.
6. INFORMATION FOR THE LAYOUT AND DESIGN OF THESE PLANS WERE EXTRACTED FROM
FIELD MEASUREMENTS AND EXISTING DRAWINGS.
CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT EXISTING FIELD CONDITIONS TO ENSURE PRESENT INFORMATION
ON PLANS MATCH. IF EXISTING CONDITIONS DIFFER FROM PLANS, "GENERAL" NOTE 1 ABOVE ,
SHALL ALSO APPLY.
DEMOLITION:
1. PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF DEMOLITION THE CONTRACTOR WILL COORDINATE HIS
ACTIVITIES WITH ALL THE APPROPRIATE SUB -CONTRACTORS AFFECTED BY THIS AREA
2. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO COMPLETELY REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL MATERIALS
THAT ARE SO INDICATED INCLUDING CONCRETE AND WOOD.
3. THE LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES ARE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY.
THE ENGINEER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR EXACT LOCATIONS. PRIOR TO THE
START OF DEMOLITION THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE AND DETERMINE THE
- LOCATION AND THE EXISTENCE OF ALL STRUCTURES AND UTILITIES SHOWN OR NOT ON
THE PLANS.

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. The
documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami -Dade County RER -Product Control Section to
be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Vfiami-Dade County Product Control Section
(In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right to have this
product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in the accepted
manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may immediately revoke, modify, or
suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this
acceptance, if it is determined by Miami -Dade County Product Control Section that this product or material fails to
meet the requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code,
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.
DESCRIPTION: Atlantic Series Aluminum Sliding Glass Door— SALL
APPROVAL DOCUNIENT: Drawing No. W04-80 Rev L titled "Atlantic Series SM 130 Alum Sliding GIass
Door", sheets 1 through 8 of 8, prepared by AL-Farooq Corporation, dated 09/10/04 and last revised on DEC 07,
2017, signed and sealed by Javad Ahmad, P.E., bearing the Miami -Dade County Product Control Revision stamp
with the Notice of Acceptance number and expiration date by the Miami -Dade County Product Control Section.
MISSILE IMPACT RATING: Small Missile Impact Resistant
Limitations:
1. See Design Pressure (DP) ratings with glass types & Reinforcing in sheet 2. See DP ratings of anchor types in
sheet 3. Lower Design Pressure Ratings shall apply to entire system. Positive (Exterior) DP shall be limitedto
sill height per sheet 2.
2. The total tested frame area must not exceed 180 sq. ft. per FBC requirements.
3. All SGD doors containing operable panel (kD require channel reinforcement (item #31) at Bottom Rails.
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state, modeUseries,
and following statement: "Miami -Dade County Product Control Approved", unless otherwise noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no
change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in the
materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any product,
for sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA- Failure to comply with any
section of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number ceded b the words Miami -Dade
Preceded y w Miamr D Comity, Florida, and followed by the
expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is displayed, then it shall be
done in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors and
shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This NOA revises NOA #14-0807.18 and consists of this page I and evidence pages E-1 and E-2, as well as
approval document mentioned above.
