The purpose of these observations was to inspect the following in accordance with the Florida Building Code, 6th Edition (2017) and the National Electric Code (NEC), 2014 Edition: 1 . Removal of three existing Remote Radio Units (RRUs). 2. Installation of nine proposed RRUs. 3. Installation of proposed power cables. 4. Installation of proposed fiber cables. 5. Installation of proposed grounding system. The installation of the above -mentioned items was visually inspected and compared with the approved construction drawings by APX Engineering -Group, LLC dated September 11, 2018. Based on these observations and to the best of my knowledge and belief, the above -described construction of all structural load -bearing components complies with the permitted documents. It is our understanding that AT&T, who retained MasTec Network Solutions (MNS), desires to install new telecommunication equipment on the subject mount. This analysis was based on the supporting information listed in Table 2. Our services were performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the master service agreement between APX and MNS. This report summarizes the results of our findings. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the suitability of the aforementioned structure to support the loading indicated in the attached calculations. This analysis has been performed in accordance with the Florida Building Code based upon an ultimate 3-second gust wind speed of 161 mph using RISA-3D structural software. Based on our analysis, subject to the assumptions and recommendations noted, it is our opinion that the subject structure will support the proposed loading. Existing Members: Pass at 48.1 %, Existing Connections: Pass at 40.4% This report has been prepared for the purpose of providing a structural evaluation of the subject structure for the loading conditions indicated. It is intended for the exclusive use of AT&T and MNS. We are, ready to move forward with the proposed work however we have an issue as an Osprey has laid a -pair of eggs in the nest on the tower and we are unable to do the work until the birds hatch and become large enough to leave the nest. Please find the attached pictures for your reference. Please advise on what we should do regarding the open permit that will expire before we are able to complete the work. MasTec would like to know what the best option is so we can have the permit ready when we are ready to do the build later this year once the birds are gone.
