The reason the occupancy count as listed on the plan (49 People) was used is because the
gaming area that will be used is 536 square feet and the FBC Table 1004.1.2 requires 1
person per 11 square feet therefore 49 people total. Actual people that will occupy the
space will be 29 people (28 clients / game spaces + 1 attendant).
People will not stay at an arcade if all gaming spots are taken, plans have been designed
to allow for 20 extra people that have nowhere to play a game.
Please allow for plans to be designed as is with a maximum occupancy of 49 people.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Lydia,
Supposedly planning does not check the parking requirements for arcades anymore. Because there are no requirements
in the Land Development Code that specifically state that we check for parking, as does the Membership Organizations
Section, it is up to the sole discretion of the property owner and tenants to decide the parking situation. It is a permitted
use within the CG (Commercial General) zoning district.

Tahir or Kris,
We have a renovation permit in for unit 11035 S Ocean Dr. for an Arcade. This shopping plaza is not really large. They
will need to apply for a Zoning Compliance. Can you please check if there would be enough parking spaces to
accommodate an Arcade in this plaza? Before we go further in any review.
Thank you,
