To Whom It May Concern:
This office has reviewed test reports showing structural performance of the above -noted
products. These test reports pertain to testing performed in accordance with ASTM E1996-05,
Performance of Exterior Windows, Curtain Walls, Doors and Impact Protective Systems
Impacted by Windbome Debris in Hurricanes. We have determined that for the purpose of
determining the structural performance of this product, this standard is equivalent to ASTM
El996-09, which is a referenced standard in the Florida Building Code Sixth Edition (2017).

product. These test reports pertain to testing performed in accordance with ASTM E 1996-05
Standard Specification for Performance of Exterior Windows, Glazed Curtain Walls, Doors and
Storm Shutters Impacted by Wind Borne Debris in hurricanes. This standard is adopted in the
Florida Building Code Sixth Edition (2017) and is equivalent to ASTM E 1996-09, which is also
an adopted standard in the abggeircF=qqSed building code.
