OBSERVATIONS: St. Lucie County
Units 316/416, 320/420, 520/620, 616/716 & 620/720:
• The concrete was placed last week at the units listed above and the form boards are in the progress of being
removed.
The concrete manufacturer states that the compressive strength of the concrete mix used exceeds 4,000 psi as
required to re=tension'the post tension cables.
Cables are scheduled to'be tensioned Thursday April 30, 2020.
Stucco fmish has been applied to the underside of the slab & slab edges.
Unit416/516
• The existing bursting bars were found to be heavily corroded and not in serviceable condition.
• The corroded section of the bars has been removed and new bars have been epoxy doweled into the existing
slab.
• New post tension cable anchor plates are in place and are secured to the bursting bars using wire ties.
• Form boards & shoring are in progress for concrete pour.
• The total area of repair is (5) linear feet of edge and (2) PT cables required splicing.
All work to date complies with the design and permit documents. The concrete pour for Unit 416/516 is approved and
scheduled for Monday April 27, 2020.
