Based on the non -inhabitable nature of the building and no floodplain impacts, I would move forward with supporting the request. Patrick Dayan, P.E. Previously, the dormitory was granted a waiver for a FFE of 21'. Leslie is comfortable with the request since it is a non -habitable structure but asked that we double-check with you to confirm there are no issues. Please draft the letter for review. I would recommend to issue the waiver based on the analysis. 3 Patrick Dayan, P.E. Water Quality Division Manager 201e et zoz> -. As requested I wanted to provide assurance that raising the finished floor elevation of the easternmost building to elevation 21.40 NAVD would not have an effect on the stage results for the post -development model. We can say this for two reasons first the building areas are not included in the stage storage calculations and secondly the stage storage calculations already included an open space area that ranges from elevation 18.50 NAVD to elevation 22.25 NAVD as well as asphalt & concrete area that ranges from elevation 19.00 NAVD to elevation 21.50 NAVD. The attached drainage calculations include a back to back storm event design to prove recovery for the system and the second 100 year-3 day event reveals a maximum stage of 20.42 NAVD which our proposed finished floors exceed.
