The information below is in response to the comments received by our office from Planning & Development Services with
the St. Lucie County regarding the above referenced project.
Comment 1: DRAWINGS ARE NOT SIGNED & SEALED. ([A] 107. 1)
Response 1: Acknowledged, signed and sealed drawings will be provided.
Comment 2: PLEASE CLARIFY IF THE FOUNDATION IS PART OF THE SCOPE OF WORK. WILL REQUIRE A
BUILDING/GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR CONCRETE WORK. ([A] 107.2.1)
Response 2: Foundation is not part of the scope of work, foundations to be provided by others.
Comment 3: PLEASE PROVIDE A CUT SHEET FOR THE LAMP & POLE. ([A] 107.2.1)
Response 3: Please refer to attached cutsheet.
Comment 4: PLEASE SHOW THE PROPOSED TYPE OF EXTERIOR LIGHTING CONTROLS. (C405.2.5)
-Response 4: Please refer to sheet E2, detail 2. The proposed lighting is controlled by a photocell -controlled lighting
contactor.
Comment 5: PLEASE PROVIDE THE PROPOSED LIGHTING POWER ALLOWANCE (W/FT2). (TABLE C405.1(2))
Response 5: Added COM check based off on 2017 Florida Building Code.
Comment 6: PLEASE INDICATE THE HEIGHT OF THE POLE ON THE PLANS.
Response 6: Please refer to sheet E2, detail 1. The height of the proposed light poles are 40'-0".
Comment 7: ARE THE POLES AND FOUNDATION A REPLACEMENT? IF 50, IS IT SAME FOR SAME?
Response 7: Yes, the poles are existing to be re -installed. The foundations are new, by others, to match existing
foundations.

Comment 8: THE LIGHT POLES WERE APPROVED PER SITE PLAN. THE SITE PLAN HAS AN APPROVED
PHOTOMETRIC PLAN. PLEASE INDICATE IF THE PROPOSED POLES ARE MATCHING THE PHOTOMETRIC PLAN
AND SHOW THE TYPE OF ELECTRICAL POLE AND LIGHTS. PLEASE INDICATE THE NUMBERS OF THE FOOT
CANDLE AROUND THE POLE AND HOW THE FIXTURES SHALL BE SHIELDED FROM PUBLIC STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS TO PREVENT DIRECT GLARE OR HAZARDOUS INTERFERENCE OF ANY KIND.
Response 8: Please refer to the photometric plan on sheet E3. Light fixtures are provided with a house side shield or
located and oriented such that they prevent glare or hazardous interference from public streets and
highways.
