The Work shall be carried out in accordance with the following supplemental instructions issued in accordance with
the Contract Documents without change in Contract Sum or Contract Time. Proceeding with the Work in accordance
with these instructions indicates your acknowledgment that there will be no change in the Contract Sum or Contract
Time.
DESCRIPTION:
Incorporate the following minor modifications and clarifications as required by the St Lucie County Building
Department
I- Life Safety Plan, Drawing A3.3 has been modified to be titled the LIFE SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY PLAN,
to indicate the accessible rout from accessible parking into the building and to the business counter.
2- Specifications Section 08410 has been modified to change to Florida Product Approval Numbers for exterior
storefront and fixed windows, to reflect recent changes in Florida's Web Site and adoption of the product approval
data, which occurred subsequent to the release of the Construction Documents.
3- Drawings Aj A5.2 and A81, and Specifications Section 07460 have been modified to change to Florida
Product Approval Number for exterior Hardi Products siding, to reflect recent changes in Florida's Web Site and
adoption of the product approval data, which occurred subsequent to the release of the Construction Documents.
4- Specifications Section 07610 has been modified to change to Florida Product Approval Number for roof covering
material, to reflect recent changes in Florida's Web Site and adoption of the product approval data, which occurred
subsequent to the release of the Construction Documents.

Drawing, and to add exterior pouch and covered drive -through square footages to the Drawing. These areas do not
increase the occupied space, change the occupancy, or alter the life safety requirements of the building, but have been
added at the request of the authority having jurisdiction.

1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Comply with applicable local, state and federal codes.
B. Comply with applicable requirements of recognized industry associations which promulgate standards
for the various trades.
C. Employ only qualified journeymen for this work. Employ a competent qualified electrician to supervise
the work
1.4 STANDARDS
A. Perform work specified in Division 16 in accordance with standards listed below including
amendments or revisions. When these specifications are more stringent, they take precedence. In case
of conflict, obtain a decision from the Designer.

2. NFPA-72 - National Fire Alarm Code. 2002 Edition.

D. Should any work be construed as being contrary to or not conforming to aforementioned codes, such

review so that such point in question may be resolved. All work to be installed in strict conformity with
applicable codes without additional cost to Owner.
