I, Marco T. Perez., Florida register Professional Engineer, I have inspected the installed doors at rear
of the building with the address mentioned above and I certify that these doors properly installed by
using similar fastener materials as the recommended by the manufacturer engineer. Please see
attached Report #: 514010.
The installed door type is: single panel door unit 3'-0" x 6'-8" from Mansonite International Corp. and
according to the product approval number FL 22513.6 is also impact resistant. (+70,-70)
The calculated wind pressures are ( +21.29, -54.2) < the design pressure (+70,-70)
The used for anchoring through frame into masonry/concrete jams was Yd' x 3 %" tapcons with a min.
embedment of 1 112" into masonry jams and spaced 12" o.c. and 3" from the corners.
The tapcons are BUILDEX corrosion resistant type. See attached information
The observed wood buck was 2x4 pressure treated lumber in some locations.
In addition, this installation complies with the FBC 2017 Section 1714.5.3 Exterior door assemblies
