Condos — Bldg B DATE: September 27, 2019 Parapet Wall CLIENT: Elliott Merrill Community Management LOCATION: Vero Beach, Florida CONTRACTOR: Structure -Con PROJECT MGR: Mr. Khris McConnell INSPECTED BY: Mike Lue WEATHER: Sunny WORK INSPECTED: Repairs to the Building B Parapet wall joint at the roof slab line. OBSERVATIONS: SCANNED The horizontal joint was repaired and we observed the following: BY • The width of the sealant extends too far above and below the actual joint. St. Lucie County • A section of the joint in the middle close to the scupper was covered with stucco. • The repaired joints stopped short of the adjacent walls to the north and south. RECOMMENDATIONS: • The width of the sealant should be the same width as the mortar joint. • Remove the stucco and repair the sealant where the stucco is covering the joint near the scupper. • Extend the repairs to the joint all the way to the north and south walls.
