Subject: New Roof Material — Pool Building
The roofer may install Dynamic Metals 1" nail strip, 0.032aluminum panels on the
existing one story pool bldg. per the attached FL- 21082-R2 Florida Test Report. #10X1"
pancake head fasteners, spaced @ 6" from each end and 6" o/c/ field are to be installed in all
zones.
The required applied uplifts in their appropriate zones for a mean roof height of < 15 feet,
in exposure "D" during a 170 mph it,132 mph asd wind event are as follows:
Zone #1 (45 psf)
Zone #2 (-75 psf)
Zone #3 (413 psf)
The product, installed per the aforementioned pattern / spacing, has been tested to
provide a maximum total uplift design pressure of 168.5 psf psf, clearly exceeding the
requirements for all three zones
