RE: Pursuit Boats New Facility
Plumbing Fixture Calculation Reduction Letter
Architect's Project No. 2018.42.7
Dear Mr. Stepalavich,
As per Florida Plumbing Code, Section 403.1.1, Exception, Pursuit Boats is requesting a
redistribution of the. sexes for the calculation of plumbing fixtures from.500A men and 50%
women to 80% men and 20% women, based on statistical data from our existing Boat
ManufacturingPlant.
The existing Boat Manufacturing Plant has an employee count of 400 people, 80% men and 20%
women. This has been the norm for our Plant for over the. past years of operating this Facility. For
this reason our employee count of 400 people will be the same for the New Facility, 320
men/80% and 80 women/20%.
As per the;plumbing fixture calculation shown cry sheet Al.11, see attach copy, the total occupant
load for. the new facility is calculated at 1818 persons, 909 men and 909 women. Per the plumbing
design of the New.;Facility, we have only reduced the Women's required plumbing fixture count
from 10 to 7, while the Men's has actually been increased from 10 to 12 fixtures. The New
Occupant'Load, based on the Plumbing Fixture Count Schedule, will actually support 1200 men
and'700 women, 1900 persons total, with the redistribution of the sexes. This is actually an
increase in the total occupant load as calculated by Section 403.
I hope this letterhas helped to. justify our requested redistribution of sexes per the Florida
Plumbing Code; Section 403.1.1, Exception.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Bruce Thompson

Good evening gentlemen,
The building permit for your new building is almost ready to be issued. However, we still need to resolve the address
for the new building.
If you want to use the 3901 St. Lucie Boulevard address for the new building, we can treat it as a campus -style address
for all of your buildings at this location. To do that, you need to request a campus address and tell us how you want to
identify the individual structures for safety purposes (i.e. Building A, Building B, Building C). You will also need to apply
for Unity of Title for both properties from the Property Appraiser's office, and.provide a copy of an application to us.
Alternately, we can issue the building permit using the new address (3891 St. Lucie Boulevard) for the new property.
That will provide a unique address where the Fire District can respond. Other than to provide a location for emergency
services, it will be up to you whether you want to receive mail at that address or publicize it in any way.
