Re: Structural Steel Inspection — Renovation
To Whom It May Concern:
Based upon a request from Matt Toeniskoetter with The Storage Depot Center on 11/2112019, we
have been asked to conduct a visual site inspection to review the structural steel, as well as the,
bolted and welded connections for the renovation of The Storage Depot Center. Representatives
from KSM Engineering and Testing (KSM hereinafter) conducted a visual non-destructive site
inspection on 11/25/2019 to review the structural steel and the bolted and welded connections for
the renovation.
Scope qf Inspection:
To review and visually inspect the columns, beam reinforcements, added joistsfbridging, gusset
plates/plate stiffeners, the bolted and welded connections for the renovation and along "vith
verifying that they were installed in accordance to the signed/sealed construction draArings.
'I'lle visual non -de M-ctive observations of KSM serve to document or evaluate the condition of
the structure. or assemblies at the time of the inspection within a reasonable professional
engineering probability and certainly. All conclusions or.recommendations are based upon testing,
observations, or information gathered on -site prior to completion of this document. If field
conditions change or differ than as stated in this document, it is the responsibility of all parties to
contact KSM -for additional review.
General Proper�y Inforruation:
Interior renovation to existing two-story CMU block construction indoor storage facility. The
renovation consisted of reinforcing the flist-floor ceiling with added structural joists, beam
reinforcement and upgraded column footings.

Conclusions and Recommendations:
Based upon our observations, within a reasonable professional engineering certainly, the added
structural reinforcement, new welded connections, new bolted connections and anchor bolts were
properly installed and perf6nred according to the signed/sealed construction drawings.
