Roof System Certified Final Inspection Letter
Per your request, I have inspected all the installed roofing components for the sloped mansard roof system for
the above listed project and building. I recommend all roof systems to be passed. The roofing systems have
been installed per FBC 2017, 6`)' edition and permit drawings produced by CSM Engineering with latest
revision date of 4-1-2020. All the roof system components have been inspected and found to be structurally
adequate. These components include, but not limited to:
1. Timber trusses and connections
2. Roof sheathing and connections
3. Underlayment and connections
4. Concrete tile and connections
5. Eaves, ridges, soffits, and associated connections
6. Mansard truss vertical leg/wall cement board, weather barrier, connections, and waterproofing
7. Stucco, lath, primer, and paint
8. Galvanized connectors are an acceptable replacement for stainless steel connectors
I hereby certify that the structural roof systems listed above were constructed in conformance with the FBC
2017 6w Edition, Existing FBC 2017, ACI Concrete Code, NDS Timber Code, ASD, AISC, and CSM drawings
with latest revision date of 4-1-2020. To the best of my knowledge, all work performed by the contractor meets
the above technical codes and CSM drawings. I Certify that the permit drawings with a latest revision of 4-1-
2020, meet or exceed the requirements of the above technical listed codes in relation to strength, stress, strain,
stability, loads, and load combinations.

the above listed project and building. I recommend all roof systems to be passed. The roofing systems have
been installed per FBC 2017, 6u' edition and permit drawings produced by CSM Engineering with latest
revision date of 12-2-19. All the roof system components including, but not limited to the timber trusses,
sheathing, underlayment, tile, eaves and ridges, and associated connections have been inspected and found to be
structurally adequate. Galvanized nails were used in stead of the permit plan specified stainless steel and this is
acceptable.
I hereby certify that the structural roof systems were constructed in conformance with the FBC 2017 6a' Edition
and CSM drawings dated 12-2-19. Certify means to state or declare a professional opinion based upon the
completed roof systems listed above. Certify does not mean or imply a guarantee by the engineer nor does an
engineer's certification relieve any other party from meeting requirements imposed by construction, age,
original material strength, or other means, including meeting commonly accepted industry construction
practices.
