A new split system is being added in addition to the existing systems serving the current member meeting area. This system will function as extra cooling capacity for special occasions. The indoor air handling unit being installed is a Trane / Am. Std. model TEM4AOC60, rated at 5 tons and the outdoor condensing unit being installed is a Trane / Am. Std. model 4TTR6061 rated at 5 tons. This additional system shall only function during special occasions requiring short periods of increased cooling capacity. Controls shall be provided to separately operate the new equipment only during the special occasion periods. This additional cooling equipment shall be permitted per FBC Energy C403.2.2 Exception 2: Multiple units of same equipment type with combined capacities exceeding the design load and provided with controls that have the capability to sequence the operation of each unit based on load.
