It is our understanding that AT&T, who has retained MasTec Network Solutions, LLC (MNS), desires to install new telecommunication equipment on the subject tower. This analysis was based on the supporting information listed in Table 3. Our services were performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the master services agreement between APX and MNS. This report summarizes the results of our findings. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the suitability of the aforementioned tower to support the loading indicated in Table 2. This analysis has been performed in accordance with the Florida Building Code based upon an ultimate 3-second gust wind'speed of 160 mph with no ice using tnxTower structural software. Based on our analysis, subject to the assumptions noted, it is our opinion that the tower superstructure and foundation system will support the proposed loading without further modification. Tower: Pass at 95.9%,_Foundation: Pass at 84.5%q This report has been prepared for the purpose of providing a structural evaluation of the subject tower for the loading conditions indicated. It is intended for the exclusive use of AT&T and MNS. May 6, 1998 Tower Design Pirod, Inc. 3.1 Analysis Methods The tower superstructure analysis was performed with the use of tnxTower, a commercially available software program designed for the analysis of telecommunications towers. The program was used to create. a three-dimensional mathematical model of the tower and to calculate member stresses under the appropriate dead; live,' and wind loads. Loads were computed in accordance with applicable portions of the TIA-222-G standard. Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A. APX Engineering Group; LLC AT&T: Indrio'IFA# 100168061 Structural Analysis Report A separate analysis of the tower foundation system was performed by comparing the factored reactions from the tnxTower superstructure analysis to the foundation capacities indicated in the previous analysis by CALTROP Corporation dated February 22, 2013. 3.2 Analysis Assumptions and Limitations 1. Information in the supporting documentation that could not be verified by APX personnel is assumed to be correct. 2. All tower components are assumed to be in adequate condition to carry their full design capacity. 3. Limitations for antenna twist, tilt, roll, or lateral translation are not considered in this analysis, since the effects of these factors on structural tower performance are typically negligible. 4. The configuration of equipmentlappurtenances is assumed to be as specified in this report. 5. Emergency/essential communication equipment is not located on.the tower. 6. This analysis does not consider the capacity of the antenna support systems. 7. The aforementioned tower and foundation modification design by CALTROP Corporation has been fully implemented. If any of the above assumptions are not valid or have been made in error, these calculations may be affected, and APX should be allowed to review any new information to determine its effect on the structural integrity of the subject structure. 4.0 Analysis Results The following tables summarize analysis results for the tower superstructure and foundation system. Tower Input Data ::.... Structural Analysis Report The main tower is at 3x guyed tower with an overall height of 480.00 ft above the ground line. The base of the tower is set at an elevation of 0.00 ft above the ground line. The face width of the tower is 4.00 ft at the top and tapered at the base. An index plate is provided at the 3 sided -tower connection. There is a 3 sided latticed pole with a face width of 2.00 ft. This tower is designed using the TIA-222-G standard. The following design criteria apply: • Tower is -located in Saint Lucie County, Florida. • Basic wind speed of 124 mph. • Structure Class II. • Exposure Category C. • Topographic Category 1. • Crest Height 0.00 ft.
