Those comments/revisions are as follows: Comments #1: Engineering references the residential wind load table, wind loads for commercial work are required to be calculated per chapter 16 of the FBC. the product approval also designed pressures to be determined per FB chapter 16. In addition, design pressures on engineering are lower than the referenced table. Response 41: Design now based on appropriate section of code. Required pressures now higher accordingly. Comments #2: Per product'approval- for mechanically attached components over existing decks, fasteners shall be tested in the existing deck for withdrawal resistance. A qualified design professional shall review the data for comparison to the minimum requirements for the system. Testing and analysis shall be in accordance with ANSI/SPRI FX-1 or testing application standard TAS 105. (1503.1) Response #2: Contractor retained services of firm for pullout test and required paperwork to be submitted at appropriate time. Comments #3: The roof system selected does not meet the required wind pressure. (1504.1) Response #3: Roof system selected meets new pressures for zones one (1) and two (2).
