RE: 1910-0020, Liberty Baptist Church
Good morning Lydia,
The chain -link fence may be used provided that a vegetative screen is installed on the outside of the fence of the
institutional parcel and consist of one (1) native shade every thirty (30) linearft. and a six (6) ft. native hedge that forms
a continuous screen at time of planting between the uses per LDC 7.09.04(E). When existing vegetation is inadequate to
function as a visual screen, it shall be augmented by two (2) staggered rows of shrub material at least six (6) feet in
height. The fabric, mesh screening being proposed is not an approved screening per the LDC.
There appears to be native landscape that may be used to meet some of these requirements. As long as no native
vegetation is being impacted we won't require a vegetation removal permit. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
Thanks,

Good morning Aimee,
We have a permit in to replace the wood fence on the East side from front until half way the property. They are going to
replace it with 6' black vinyl chain link fence, see attached picture. However, next door property is AR-1. Is this fence
acceptable?
