III. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Mr. Craig Mundt - North Beach Homeowners Association came forward to thank the Mosquito Control District
for making the application for the Queens Island Preserve II Recreational Trail Grant and the Board for
approving it. He stated establishing the Queens Island Preserve II Recreational Trail will be a wonderful
addition to the Parks and Recreational facilities.
He thanked Ms. Outlaw for her years of service. He stated he had learned more about the budget than he
ever wanted to know, some times fun, some times not, but at all times she led wonderfully even through a
really tough period of time.
He also noted that the reason he did not speak during the Board's Public Comment session regarding the All
Aboard Florida (AAF) comments was the North Beach Association had not made any decisions, they had
discussed it but decided until the Board of County Commissioners and Staff had fully examined all the issues,
brought them together and had a cohesive position on AAF they would not make any comments and/or
decisions.
