MOTION TO ADJOURN Commissioner Dzadovsky noted due to a recent storm, there was a power loss to the mosquito control structure which caused a fish kill. The public notified many of the Board Members as well as the media regarding the event. He stated it was an unusual circumstance caused by the power failure, there was no discharge of nutrients or any other pollutant that caused the situation; it was a low oxygen scenario. He has asked the Mosquito Control Director to look into the possibility of installing a solar panel with an aerator attached to it for future should this type of event occur again. He stated he didn't believe the event had ever occurred in the past but would like to have something in place as a backup in the event another outage takes place. He thanked the public for understanding what transpired was an unusual situation and was not caused by pollutants. He noted the Mosquito Control District was moving forward and continuing to do good things in the county. There being no further business to be brought before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
