A. COUNTY ATTORNEY
1. Third Amendment to Special Assessment Funding Agreement (Energy and
Sustainability Financing Program)
County Attorney Dan McIntyre presented this item. On August 19, 2014, the St. Lucie
County Sustainability District, Inland St. Lucie PACE, LLC and the Solar and Energy Loan
Fund of St. Lucie County, Inc. entered into a Special Assessment Funding Agreement. A
proposed Third Amendment to the Funding Agreement would (1) increase the line of
credit to $2,000,000.00 and extend the maturity date to September 1, 2022, (2) adopt
additional disclosure and application criteria, including an ability to pay determination,
and (3) allow for transfer of project bonds by Inland to a trust or other financial entity.
Staff recommended that the District adopt the Third Amendment and Resolution and
authorize the Chair to sign the amendment and resolution.
A motion was made to adopt the resolution and it passed unanimously.
