Special Meeting Monday June 2, 2025 8:30 AM 3 | P a g e E: DISCIPLINARY CASE: 1) AGAINST: J B Roofing & Waterproofing LLC John Williams Buss State License # CCC1330416 County Cert # 30152 Location of violation: 75 Spanish Way, Port St Luce, FL 34952 Complaint filed by: Marilyn Summers owner of property located at 75 Spanish Way, Port St Luce, FL 34952 Case No. 2412-0000098 Investigator: Mirlande Moise First Notification to the Company: December 18, 2024 SLC CCL 10-67: - Revocation or suspension of Certificate of Competency: Sub Section: (3) Disregards and violates an applicable state or local building code, regulation or law. (4) Performs any act which assists a person or business in engaging in the unlicensed business of contracting, as defined herein, if the certificate holder knows or has reasonable grounds to know that the person or business is unlicensed. (10) Commits fraud or deceit or other misconduct in the practice of contracting. (11) Proceeds on any construction job without first obtaining and posting the required permits including but not limited to building permits and environmental regulations permits and scheduling required inspections. (12) Exceeds the scope of work which the contractor has been licensed to perform. (19)Committing mismanagement or misconduct in the practice of contracting that causes financial harm to a customer. Staff Recommendation: •To revoke permitting privileges for John Williams Buss and/or J B Roofing & Waterproofing LLC for a term not to exceed three hundred and sixty-five (365) days for new permits only. •After the revocation period, a written request must be made to the Board to reinstate John Williams Buss and/or J B Roofing & Waterproofing LLC. •A copy of the Board’s order will be forwarded to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and the surrounding municipalities
