ATTACHMENT REOUIREMENTS:
Metal roofing to be attached with Hex -Head wood screws with Weather Seal Washers (WSW)
#10 x 3/16" minimum penetration through deck spacing as follows:
ZONE 1 (Field): ROW SPACING = 16" O.C., FASTENER SPACING =12" O.C.
ZONE 2 (Perimeter/ Ridge): ROW SPACING = 8" O.C., FASTENER SPACING = 12" O.C.
ZONE 3 (Corners): ROW SPACING =8" O.C., FASTENER SPACING =12" O.C.

Note: All roof slopes with slope under three units vertical in 12 units horizontal shall have
applied lap sealant. Lap sealants shall be applied in accordance with the approved
manufacturer's installation instructions. Metal roofs shall not be installed for roof slopes under
one-half unit vertical in 12 units horizontal.
UNDERLAYMENT•
Underlayment shall be in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and FBC 1507.4.5.
DECK INSTALLATION:
Re -nail all plywood sheathing (15/32" thick minimum) with 8D ring -shank nails at 4" O.C.
perimeter and 6" O.C. field for all zones.
All work to be m compliance with product approval (FL # 10490.6), manufacturer's
specifications, and the Florida Building Code 2010.
