The purpose of this letter is to address the match -up of the indoor air handling unit
with the outdoor condensing unit for the split DX air conditioning system at the
above address.
The indoor air handling unit is an existing Lennox model CB30M-41-4P, rated at 3.5
tons, and..the outdoor condensing unit 'which is being replaced for repair of the
system is a Goodman model GSC13042 rated at 3.5 tons.
This replacement condensing unit is an acceptable match -up for cooling capacity and
inter -operability with ,the existing indoor air handling unit (with proper expansion
valve).
The new, more efficient condensing unit should provide at a minimum the previous
system efficiency, if not exceed the rating as per section 403.6.2.3, exception to the
FBC Energy Conservation Code.
