Dave,
Can you approve the pole installation only at this time?
The change order for the bullhorn will take some time to put together.
Thankyou

Nate,
What I am saying is the light pole, fixture, and attachment method mus
all required wind loads. The lights themselves should have a wind ratih€
some analysis to determine the wind rating. The bullhorn and fixtures
they are going to meet the same wind loads as the pole. Your pole is go

Nate,
Existing lights that are not being replaced are not required to be brougl'
light poles with fixtures. The poles and the lights must be rated to withs
1609.1 FBC. You may need to get with the manufacturer of the lights to
lights. The attachment to the poles must also meet all wind loads.

Dave,
Is it a requirement that we bring the existing up to current code?
We were directed to remove and replace the existing fixtures. I cannot verify if the el isting bullhorn will
meet the current wind load criteria and we will have to do an additional !change order to add a bullhorn
upgrade. j
In the interest of production could you approve the pole installation port) ion and we follow up on the
fixtures after they have been sourced, approved and obtained?
Thank you!

Good morning Dave,
We will be removing and replacing the existing fixtures and bullhorn when we replace the poles. The
tenon on the new pole matches the existing. I
I have searched the archive permits/drawings and no detail exists.
Please see attached photos of the existing, hopefully this is sufficient.
Thank you!
