The purpose of this inspection was to determine the level of structural adequacy of the existing window bucks. It is observed existing 1 x2 PT beveled wood bucks are in good condition. The installation specifications of proposed windows PGT Single Hung (NOA #07-0322.06) are reviewed. The windows will be installed by using 01/4" x 2-3/4" long Tapcon masonry screws, through the existing bucks, spaced at 12" o.c. with edge distance of 8" for the ends. Therefore, this letter is to certify that the existing 1 x2 PT bucks are adequate enough to provide structural support for the subject windows.
