Dear Commissioner Coward:
I appreciate hearing your thoughts on the application by Destin Beach, Inc. to use state-
owned submerged lands at the Port of Fort Pierce.
This item is scheduled to come before us for consideration in August. The Florida
Department of Environmental Protection is in the process of preparing a formal agenda item and
a formal recommendation for our review. When this item comes before the Cabinet, please be
assured that I am aware of your concerns and will keep them in mind.
Thank you again for contacting me. Please stay in touch.
Sincerely,
~ff~
