· Meeting commenced at 2:02 PM
· Clint described process of Region 5 Pandemic Influenza Plan reviews
· Group identified and agreed on top six planning priorities for the next 18
months.
1. Rewrite county plans based upon FDOH Pan Flu Plan v1 0.4 --- first
review by March 8 with a completion date of August 2007
· Plans will include a detailed Table of Contents and
Crosswalk
· 36 National Target Capabilities will be cross-referenced
2. Develop doable surveillance; rapid response and containment; and
community-based control and mitigation intervention annexes
3. Ensure Treasure Coast hospitals are operational
· Alternate Medical Treatment Site (AMTS) is considered an
extension of the hospital
· Surge capacity maximized
· Coordinated with health systems and community care
4. Logistics for countywide response is coordinated with ESF 6 and
ESF 11
5. Coordinate Communication messaging with ESF 14

6. Develop a Disaster Behavioral Health Plan for all victims
· St. Lucie Public Safety is completing minor revisions of their county's
pandemic influenza plan. Finished product will be brought before the
board for inclusion in the CEMP
· Martin County Department of Emergency Services is finalizing their county
pandemic influenza plan for inclusion in the CEMP.
· Indian River County Department of Emergency Services will use St.
Lucie's and Martin's Pandemic Influenza Plans as a guide when beginning
to write their plan
· Next meeting scheduled for March 8, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00 at the St.
Lucie County EOC
· Meeting concluded at 3:35 PM
