II. MINUTES
Review the minutes from the March 20, 2008 regular meeting, for
approval.
III. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Indrio Groves, LLC: TVC 06-019
Petition of Indrio Groves, LLC for a preliminary site plan approval
and amendment to the Official Zoning Atlas from the AG – 1
(Agricultural – 1 du/acre) Zoning District to the PCS (Planned
Country Subdivision) Zoning District for a project known as West
Indrio Groves. Staff comments and presentation by Kara Wood,
TVC Planning Manger.
Exhibit 1: Staff Report and site plans
Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to
the Board of County Commissioners.
B. St. Lucie County Attorney’s Office: Ordinance No. 08-012
Petition of St. Lucie County to adopt Ordinance No. 08-012
amending the Land Development Code Emergency Services
Communications, which would provide for a regulation that
buildings and structures support adequate radio coverage for
emergency services communications. Staff report and
presentation by the St. Lucie County Attorney’s Office.

C. Growth Management Director: Diamond Sands Lot 7; RZ
220081422, Diamond Sands Lot 8; RZ 220081421, and
Herman’s Bay Beach Park Rezoning; RZ 220081224
Petition of the Growth Management Director to amend the
Official Zoning Atlas to change the zoning on three parcels of
land. There parcels of land were not rezoned to their appropriate
zoning districts at the time of a 2004 land swap between St.
Lucie County and the Diamond Sands subdivision. Staff
comments and presentation by Leslie Olson

the Board of County Commissioners.
D. The Mellon Patch Inn: CU 320081432
Petition of The Mellon Patch Inn for a Conditional Use Permit for
a Four-Room Tourist Court with limited Special Events in the
HIRD (Hutchinson Island Residential District) Zoning District.
Staff comments and presentation by Leslie Olson.

Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of denial to the
Board of County Commissioners.
