CITIZENS’ ADVISORY TASK FORCE MEETING
Minutes of April 3, 2008 Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 2:40 p.m. with the Members present as noted.
Minutes of November 29, 2007 – The minutes of November 29, 2007 meeting were distributed
and read. It was the concensus of those present that the minutes were accurate.
Review of IFB #18-23 – Disaster Grant – Ms. Phillips provided a copy of the bid tabulation that
occurred earlier today for the members to consider.
IFB #18 – Juanita Chavis, 4703 Avenue Q, Fort Pierce – Motion by Ms. Olen, seconded by Ms.
Gilfillian, to recommend award to low bidder, CMK Construction, in the amount of $79,000.00
pending review of qualifications. If not acceptable, consider award to second low bidder, Alton
Silver III Homes, in the amount of $79,500.00. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
IFB #19 – Caleb Irving, 4705 Barcelona Ave., Fort Pierce – Motion by Ms. Gilfillian, seconded
by Ms. Williams, to recommend award to low bidder, CMK Construction, in the amount of
$79,000.00 pending review of qualifications. If not acceptable, consider award to second low
bidder, Alton Silver III Homes, in the amount of $79,500.00. MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY.
IFB #20 - Judith Suit, 6102 Bamboo Dr., Fort Pierce – Motion by Ms. Williams, seconded by
Ms. Olen, to recommend award to low bidder, CMK Construction, in the amount of $79,000.00
pending review of qualifications. If not acceptable, consider award to second low bidder, Alton
Silver III Homes, in the amount of $79,500.00. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
IFB #21 – Clyde Mitchell,4808 Barcelona Ave., Fort Pierce – Motion by Ms. Gilfillian,
seconded by Ms. Williams, to recommend award to low bidder, CMK Construction, in the
amount of $79,000.00 pending review of qualifications. If not acceptable, consider award to
second low bidder, Alton Silver III Homes, in the amount of $79,500.00. MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY.
IFB #22 – Crystal Wimes, 3508 Avenue F, Fort Pierce – Motion by Ms. Olen, seconded by Ms.
Williams to recommend award to low bidder, Home Crete Homes, in the amount of $85,316.00
pending review of qualifications. If not acceptable, consider award to second low bidder, E.O.
Koch Construction, in the amount of $85,375.00. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

IFB #23 – Rudine Bembry, 414 N 41 Street, Fort Pierce -- Motion by Ms. Gilfillian, seconded
by Ms. Olen, to recommend award to low bidder, E.O. Koch, in the amount of $87,410.00,
pending review of qualifications. If not acceptable, consider award to second low bidder,
Carmel Capital, in the amount of $89,900.00. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
Other Business – There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 3:21 p.m.
