Pierce, Fl 34950 MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: AGENDA ITEM 1: APPROVE MINUTES – AGENDA ITEM 2: COMMISSIONER’S REMARKS – Commissioner Craft AGENDA ITEM 3: MANAGER'S REPORT – Jody Bonet AGENDA ITEM 4: CHAIRMAN’S REPORT – Jack Connolly AGENDA ITEM 5: TREASURER’S REPORT AGENDA ITEM 7: NEW BUSINESS Vote on Slate of Officers Treasurer Dan Kurek Vote on Reappointment to AiPP Board Bob Hood and Jack Connolly Vote on Change to By-Laws 5.1REGULAR MEETINGS. The Board of Directors shall meet monthly pursuant to notice and at such times and places as the Board shall determine. Recommended Change to: 5.1 REGULAR MEETINGS. The Board of Directors shall meet on and as needed basis pursuant to notice and at such times and places as the Board shall determine. AGENDA ITEM 8: COMMITTEE REPORTS 1. AiPP - Lakewood Park project should be installed in June and others by September. WOW 3 will open sometime in the fall of 2009. 2. ZoraFest – ZoraFest 2009 April 3, 4, 5, 2009 3. Mini-grants – Schedule of events to attend 3. Public Relations – Teri Pinney has volunteered to assist with PR AGENDA ITEM 9: OLD BUSINESS Next CAC Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, , 2009 at 5:30 P.M. General Meeting at the Grants Office Treasurer’s Report Lucie Awards $3944 on Lucie Award tickets and Silent Auction Items ($300) Musical Performance ($800) Awards ($24) Plaques for the Awards ($2,683) Pelican Yacht Club for 84 Meals $3,944 - $3,807 = $137 ________________________________________________________ At the March 10, 2009 Board of County Commissioners meeting, they approved granting funds from the St. Lucie County Cultural Affairs Division Aid to Organizations line item of $50,000 ? $11,100 to the Zora Neale Hurston Florida Foundation, th ? a total of $20,000 to the Port St. Lucie Historical Society for 50 Anniversary events and the film, ? $18,900 was transferred to the CAC Agency Account. After transferring $18,900 to the CAC Agency Account the remaining budget is: $34,538 $21,500 remaining to be given out in mini grants $3,500 from Children’s Services Council was given as mini-grants After the dispersal of the mini-grants, there will be $13,038 in the CAC Agency Budget
