Tom Gonzalez was elected Chairman and Dr. Bobbie Conti will be Vice-Chairman. Robert Cannellos, who has helped Stuart get their resolution, brought several Power Point presentations to show the committee what needs to be done. Vanessa will be putting his presentations on the website in the near future. The resolution from Stuart that he brought was not the one that was approved. Mr. Cannellos will be sending that to Vanessa to be included in the website materials. There will also be website included to find materials from other areas that have adopted these plans. There is much to be done to finalize a program such as this. Mr. Gonzalez suggested having meetings every two weel?s until things are underway. Vanessa will poll the members to see what day and time will be most suitable for the committee members. Much enthusiasm was shown in getting this started. It was also suggested to bring to each meeting small ways that we can start on the green theory; turning off lights on public tennis courts, leal?y faucets fixed, etc. Mr. Gonzalez said that he would lil?e each member to tell their thoughts and ideas on adopting the plan for St. Lucie County. Sandy Bogan told of a worl?shop being held in October that would be of interest to the members.
