Items not included on the agenda may also be heard in consideration of the best interests of
the public’s health, safety, welfare, and as necessary to protect every person’s right of
access. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the St. Lucie TPO/Martin MPO
Joint Advisory Committees with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or
hearing, that person shall need a record of the proceedings, and for such a purpose, that
person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record
includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
The St. Lucie TPO satisfies the requirements of various non-discrimination laws and
regulations including Title VI ofthe Civil Rights Act of 1964. Public participation is solicited
without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.

St. Lucie County Residents-Anyone with a disability requiring accommodation to access the
