Adjourned: 3:00 p.m. Commissioners Present: Chris Craft, Chairman, Joseph Smith, Paula A. Lewis, Doug Cowazd, Charles Grande Others Present: Doug Anderson, County Administrator, Ray Wazny, Asst. County Administrator, Dan McIntyre, County Attorney, Don West, County Engineer, Lauri Case, Asst. Utilities Director, Millie Delgado-Feliciano, Deputy Clerk The Assistant Utilities Director, Lauri Case opened the worksession and presented an overview of the St. Lucie County Utilities Service azeas and the Utilities Department's Mission Statement. Ms. Case advised the Boazd they are still working on updating the Master Plan for Utilities. She advised the Boazd that HEW Utilities would be coming off line within the next two years and Fairwinds Golf Course would be coming off line shortly and would be diverted to FPUA. The Board discussed scheduling a joint meeting with the City of Port St. Lucie to discuss utility services in the southwest area of the county. Ms. Case stated she was made awaze that the city was not interested in selling their water in bulk. They are interested in selling it retail. She believes they still have a long term issue and need a solution. Com. Craft stated if the city does not wish to sell us the water in a bulk water agreement, then the county is on their own, however the felt they would have a better idea after the meeting in January. Three of the Board members requested the TDR program be added to the agenda of the meeting with the city. Updates were presented on the Transportation Land Use regarding Ridgeline Road and Virginia Avenue. An update was also given on the Joint Planning Agreement and its status to date. The County Administrator advised the Boazd the following issues would be placed on the agenda for discussion at the joint meeting.
