Review the minutes from the February 17, 2011 regular meeting, for
approval.
III. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. FPL Meteorological Towers: TLCP 1020104148
Petition of Florida Power and Light (FPL) Company to recommend
adoption of a Land Development Code text amendment to include
meteorological towers as permitted temporary structures in the
AG – 5 (Agricultural – 5) Zoning District [Ordinance No. 11-012].
Staff comments and presentation by Jeffrey Johnson.
Exhibit 1: Staff Report
Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to
the Board of County Commissioners.
B. Ordinance No. 11-015
Petition of DGC Environmental Services, Inc. to add landscape
and horticultural services (SIC 078) as a permitted use in the IL
(Industrial, Light) Zoning District. Staff comments and
presentation by Diana Waite.

Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to
the Board of County Commissioners.

NOTICE: All proceedings before the Planning and Zoning Commission /
Local Planning Agency of St. Lucie County, Florida, are electronically

the Planning and Zoning Commission / Local Planning Agency with
respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he will
need a record of the proceedings. For such purpose, he or she may

that includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is
based. Upon the request of any party to the proceedings, individuals
testifying during a hearing will be sworn in. Any party to the
proceeding will be granted an opportunity to cross-examine any
individual testifying during a hearing upon request. Anyone with a
