Mr. Culverhouse called the meeting to order at 7:33 a.m.

After a motion by Mr. Lounds and second by Mr. Knaggs, the minutes were unanimously
approved.

UPDATE FROM RESEARCH & EDUCATION PARK -BEN DEVRIES
Mr. DeVries gave a brief PovverPoint presentation and updated the Committee about the
Treasure Coast Research and Education Park. PowerPoint presentation is attached.
Mr. DeVries passed around The St. Lucie Education Research Coalition 2012 Yearbook of
scientists located in St. Lucie County.
Discussion and questions ensued.
TRANSIT REPORT -BETH RYDER & MARIANNE ARBORE
Ms. Ryder gave a brief overview of St. Lucie County's transit system.
Ms. Ryder introduced Marianne Arbore, Transit Director for the Transit Authority.
Ms. Arbore went over the monthly operating statistics for the Treasure Coast Connector.
Discussion and questions ensued.
CBC - 5-YEAR REVIEW - FAYE OUTLAW
Ms. Outlaw informed the Committee that CBC is up for its five-year review and that she will
be bringing her recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners during their June
informal meeting. Ms. Outlaw stated that she will be recommending that the Committee
stay active.
ADJOURNMENT
After a motion and second to adjourn the meeting, Mr. Culverhouse adjourned the meeting
at 9:14 a.m.

The next CBC regular meeting will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 7:30 a.m., at
the Fenn Center and on June 29, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. at a location to be determined.
