an advisory capacity to the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners and has
the power to review and make recommendations to the Board, for approval or
disapproval, on any applications within their area of responsibility.
• The Planning and Zoning Commission strongly encourages your input and comment at
the public hearing. Please limit comments to three minutes if possible and be respectful
of others' opinions.

A. Shoreline Protection LDC Text Amendment
Purpose: Amending Sections 2.00.00, 6.02.02 and 10.01.30 of the
Land Development Code (Shoreline Protection). Staff comment
and presentation by Amy Griffin, Environmental Resources
Department Manager.

B. Ordinance 13-023 -Road Impact Fee Ordinance
Purpose: Amending Article 111 of Chapter 1-17 (Road Impact Fee)
of the St. Lucie County Code and Compiled Laws. Staff comment
and presentation by Heather Young, Assistant County Attorney.

C. Ordinance 13-024 -Libraries Impact Fee Ordinance
Purpose: Amending Article II of Chapter 1-11 (Libraries Impact

D. Ordinance 13-025 -Public Buildings Impact Fee Ordinance
Purpose: Amending Article II of Chapter 1-16 (Public Buildings

E. Ordinance 13-026 -Parks Impact Fee Ordinance
Purpose: Amending Article III of Chapter 1-15 (Parks Impact Fee)

H. Ordinance 13-029 -Educational Facilities Impact Fee Ordinance
Purpose: Amending Article V of Chapter 1-ti.5 (Educational
Facilities Impact Fee) of the St. Lucie County Code and Compiled
Laws. Staff comment and presentation by Heather Young,
Assistant County Attorney.

Purpose: Adel Nefzi petition for a Change in Zoning from AR-1 to 1
- 100 feet southwest of the West Midway Road and Christensen
Road intersection. Staff comment and presentation by Diana
Waite, AICP, Senior Planner.

Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to
the Board of County Commissioners.
J. Christensen Road Cemetery: CU-520134620
Purpose: Adel Nefzi petition for a Conditional Use Permit for a
private cemetery - 100 feet southwest of the West Midway Road
and Christensen Road intersection. Staff comment and
presentation by Diana Waite, AICP, Senior Planner.

Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to
the Board of County Commissioners.

V. ADJOURN
NOTICE: All proceedings before the Planning and Zoning
Commission /Local Planning Agency of St. Lucie County, Florida,
are electronically recorded. If a person decides to appeal any
recommendation made by the Planning and Zoning Commission /
Local Planning Agency with respect to any matter considered at
such meeting or hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings.
For such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made, by hiring their own court reporter
at their own expense, to create a record that includes the testimony
and evidence upon which the appeal is based. Upon the request of
any party to the proceedings, individuals testifying during a hearing
will be sworn in. Any party to the proceeding will be granted an
opportunity to cross-examine any individual testifying during a
hearing upon request. Anyone with a disability requiring
