WELCOME • Please turn off all cellular phones and pagers prior to entering the Commission Chambers. • Please note that the Planning and Zoning Commission/Local Planning Agency serves in an advisory capacity to the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners and has the power to review and make recommendations to the Board, for approval or disapproval, on any applications within their area of responsibility. • The Planning and Zoning Commission strongly encourages your input and comment at the public hearing. Seven 50 Purpose: Information regarding the Seven 50 Regional Plan: Seven Counties, 50 years. Action Recommended: Discussion Item IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Hearing, Shawn Rezone: RZ-720134647 (Rezoning from RS-4 (Residential Single-Family - 4 du/acre) to CO (Commercial Office)) Purpose: County-initiated rezoning fora .65 acre parcel owned by Shawn Hearing going from the RS-4 (Residential Single-Family - 4 du/acre) to CO (Commercial Office) zoning district consistent with the River Park Community Overlay District. Staff comment and presentation by Britton Wilson, Senior Planner. Exhibit. 4: Staff Report Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to the Board of County Commissioners. B. Land Development Code Text Amendment - Parking: TLDC- 820134657 (Amending section 7.06.00, Off Street Parking and Loadin Purpose: To update the parking code to the current Institute of Traffic Engineers standards; to clarify and reorganize the off treet_ parking regulations;, to add provisions allowing _for the - continuation of nonconforming conditions and to remove redundancies in the code. Staff comment and presentation by Leslie Olson, AICP, Planning Manager. .Exhibit-3:-Staff-Report Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to the Board of County Commissioners. C. Land Development Code Text Amendment -Extensions: TLDC - 820134658 (Amending section 11.02.06, Expiration of Final Site Plan Approval) Purpose: To allow administrative processing of site plan extensions for approved site plans expiring during the dates of 1/1/2013 thru 12/31/2014. Staff comment and presentation by Leslie Olson, AICP, Planning Manager. Exhibit 3: Staff Report Action Recommended: Forward recommendation of approval to the Board of County Commissioners. V. OTHER BUSINESS A. Planning and Development Services Director comments. B. Other business at the discretion of the Planning and Zoning Board Members. VI. ADJOURN NOTICE: All proceedings before the Planning and Zoning Commission /Local Planning Agency of St. Lucie County, Florida, are electronically recorded.
