Fort Pierce Engineering, Inc. 1 Dependable Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Design CA# 28173 April 28, 2015 RE: 8677 Clearlake Lane, Fort Pierce, FL 34947 The purpose of this letter is to address the match-up of the indoor air handling unit with the outdoor condensing unit for the split DX air conditioning system at the above address. The indoor air handling unit is an existing Goodman model ARUF060, rated at 5 tons, and the outdoor condensing unit which is being replaced for repair of the system is a Lennox model 13ACX060 rated at 5 tons. This replacement condensing unit is an acceptable match-up for cooling capacity and inter-operability with the existing indoor air handling unit (with proper expansion device). The newer, more efficient condensing unit should provide at a minimum the previous system efficiency, if not exceed the rating as per section 403.6.2.3, exception to the FBC Energy Conservation Code. eq&Ot§ 1�.......
