Remove existing roofing and install new Shingle Roofing(IKO Industries FL#7006.1)at above
referenced residence address over underlayment over existing plywood sheathing.

ROOFING:
Type:Asphalt Shingles IKO Cambridge
Shingles are classi d as ASTM D 3161 Class F,and ASTM D 7158 Class H therefore are
acceptable for use in all wind zones (including Vult: 160 mph) per FBC 1507.2.7.1
ATTACHMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Use galvanized(zinb coated)roofing nails, 11 or 12 gauge,with at least 3/8" diameter heads,
long enough to pen Arate through plywood or 3/4"into boards. Use 6 nails per shingle placed in
the nail line 7-3/8"b elow the top edge,approx. V and 13" in from each end. Drive nails straight
so that nail head is ush with,but not cutting into shingle surface.
Fasteners shall com ly with ASTM F 1667.
Underlayment
Inderlayment shall conform to ASTM D 226, Type I or Type II,or ASTM D 4869 Type I or
Type H or ASTM D 6757.
For roof slopes of four units vertical in 12 units horizontal (33-percent slope)or greater,
underlayment shall be one layer applied in the following manner. Underlayment shall be applied
shingle fashion,parillel to and starting from the eave and lapped 2 inches(51 mm),fastened
sufficiently to hold to place.Distortions in the underlayment shall not interfere with the ability of
the shingles to seal Apply metal drip edges on top of any underlay along rake edges and directly
to the deck along ea es in accordance with building code requirements.
DECK INSTAL TION:
Re-nail all plywood(sheathing(19/32"thick minimum)with 8D ring-shank nails at 4" O.C.
perimeter and 6"0. . field for all zones.
All work to be in compliance with product approval (FL# 7006.1),manufacturer's
specifications, and the Florida Building Code 2010.
