In accordance with the new Florida Energy Code, the following changes and requirements for new construction and replacement windows, doors and skylights are listed below. Mobile homes are not required to meet the requirements of the'51,Edithion of the Flodida Enerev Code. • Windows and'Doors will be required to meet the U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain. Coefficient(SHGC) required in section 402 of the 51 Edition of the Florida Energy Code for climate zone 2. Opaque doors up to 24 sq. foot are exempt Per R402.3.4 of the 51 Edition of the Florida Energy Code.
