ATTACHMENTREQUIREMENTS:
Metal roofing to be attached with#9- 15 x 1 V2"long(minimum 1/4"penetration through
plywood sheathing)Woodgrip screws with weather sealing washers spacing as follows:
ALL FASTENERS IN THE FLAT OF THE PANEL
ZONE I (Field):
Fasteners adjacent to ribs one side(Type 1 per product approval) at 16" O.C.
ZONE 2 (Perimeter/Ridge):
Fasteners adjacent to ribs one side(Type 1 per product approval) at 16" O.C.
ZONE 3 (Corners):
Fasteners adjacent to ribs both side(Type 2 per product approval) at 16" O.C.
Zones 1 &2 Design uplift Pressure: -94.25 psf
Zone 3 Design uplift Pressure: - 131.0 psf
Zones 1 &2: 94.25>75.5>44.7 Therefore O.K.
Zone 3: 131.0> 110.8 Therefore O.K.
NOTE: CONTINUOUS APPROVED LAP SEALANT MUST BE USED AT ALL PANEL
SIDELAPS FOR SLOPES LESS THAN 3:12.
UNDERLAYMENT(oution#1):
Underlayment shall be Polyglass USA, Inc.FL#5259.1 "Polystick TU Plus". Polystick TU Plus
shall be installed in compliance with the codified requirements for ASTM D1970 underlayment
in FBC Section 1507. All seal-lap seams must be firmly rolled with a minimum 281b. hand roller
to ensure full contact and adhesion.
DECK INSTALLATION:
Re-nail all plywood sheathing(15/32"thick minimum)with 8D ring-shank nails at 4"O.C.
perimeter and 6" O.C. field for all zones.
All work to be in compliance with product approval (FL# 11651.13), (FL# 5259.1),
manufacturer's specifications,and the Florida Building,.Codel2Q�4`% �`
