A structural inspection was performed as a requirement of the building
department to ensure the structural adequacy the subject ATF (After The Fact)
work for the acquisition of a formal building permit. Please be advised that I
performed the onsite structural inspection at the subject location. The as-is
work consists of the following design and construction:
1. The existing door must be replaced with a door of FBC 2010 (5th Edition)
compliance PA (Product Approval)
The structure does not show any sign of structural distress nor failure.
Therefore, the inspected structures are built in compliance with the FBC R

Dear Mr. Banks per your request, this letter is intended to describe the materials and
method of installation of the ATF (After The Fact) a single outswing door at the subject
rear-of-the-house area.
I, met with Carl,William, and Malanda, building officials at the Saint Lucie County Building
Department at two (2) separate meetings. The two (2) meetings were intended to explain
to the officials that only the outswing door was to be considered ATF work.
The first meeting at the county was with Malanda at her office to obtain an extension of
the ATF permit. Subsequently, the second meeting, all three (3) building officials were in
attendance, Carl, William, and Malanda. During the second meeting, I informed them that
the only ATF work that can be proven to be ATF is the single outswing. Since the property
plan sketch does'show that the rear area is part of the entire house plan, they proposed
that they would send Carl for a second review of the ATF work.
The last meeting was onsite with Rolin and Carl in attendance. At such time, Carl was in
agreement with our ATF claim that only the single outswing door needs to be permitted
on a ATF basis..
Mr. Banks, I hereby can replace the outswing door with that is in compliance with the
FBC 2010 (5t' Edition) as you recommended.
