The purpose of this letter is to address the match -up of the indoor air handling unit
with the outdoor condensing units for the split DX air conditioning system at the
above address.
The indoor air handling unit / coil being installed is a Trane model TWE180E300A,
rated at 15 tons and the outdoor condensing unit being installed is a Trane model
TTA15OH300A rated at 12.5 tons. A larger air handier is acceptable for increased
dehumidification.
These are manufacturer recommended corresponding equipment being installed
together and the outdoor condensing unit is an acceptable match -up for cooling
capacity and inter -operability with the indoor air handling unit (with proper
expansion device).
This manufacturer matched equipment should provide the minimum system
efficiency required by the 2014, 51 Edition FBC Energy Conservation Code.
Respectfully Submitted,
