LUCIE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Notice is hereby given that the St. Lucie County Value Adjustment Board will meet on January 21, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers Room, St. Lucie County Administration Annex Building, 2300 Virginia Avenue, Ft. Pierce, Florida for the purpose of considering the Special Magistrate recommendations for the following types of petitions. Homestead exemption Homestead exemption for persons 65 years or older Portability exemptions Agriculture exemptions Widow’s exemption Disability exemption (1) Totally and permanently disabled (2) 10% or more disability by veteran Blind person exemption Total and permanent disabled veteran exemption Total disabled wheelchair veteran exemption Total and permanent disabled non-veteran exemption Religious exemption Charitable exemption Cemetery exemption Hospital exemption Parsonage exemption Non-profit home for the aged exemption Educational exemption Literary exemption Fraternal organization exemption Benevolent organization exemption Scientific exemption Labor organization exemption Community Center exemption Government exemption Historic exemption Tangible Personal Property Values Matters affecting your personal and property rights may be heard and acted upon. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any other matter considered at the meetings or hearings of any board, committee, commission, agency, council, or advisory group, that person will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
