(R-lC and B-2 to B-3) Existing Land Use: Land uses adjacent to the proposed rezoning are primarily commercial in nature, ranging from personal and business services to heavy commer- cial. There is also scattered low density resi- dential development to the' northwest of this parcel adjacent to South Market Avenue. Land immediately to the south of the proposed rezoning is Primarily vacant. Future Land Use: Commercial and light 'manufacturing. COMMENTS: The proposed rezoning does not appear to be inconsistent with future land use plans for the area. He stated the surrounding areas are zoned B-2 and B-3. Also, in order to expand the existing skating rink and~ provide parking for same in the future, the additional parcel would be needed. It was stated Messrs. John Hoag and Charles Sullivan have letters on file in favor of the petition. There was no one present to oppose the petition. Moved by Mr. Tiernan and seconded~ by.
