Attorney Gerald S. James stated he rep.re.sente, d Manuel Alverez and the
property we are herewith requesting change mn zonmng classification was form-
erly known-as White Sands Motel. He wants to operate a trading post, with
second hand merchandise, antiques, artifacs, etc~ a~d to accomplish this we have
to have B-4 zoning~ We understand a screening~ plan.would have to be approved .
by the Board, so at this time, we will see that the~e will be no outside dis-
play. My client feels this property has adequate offstreet parking.

There was no opposition to this petition.~
Mr. Brewer stated if it is like most trading p6sts I have seen, I don't
think it would be very attractive for U.S.#i. Mr. Gotham said this is less
than % acre of ground, I can't see that it would be~dequate~.
Moved by Mr. Go'bham~ seconded by Mr. Skeffington~ to recommend denial of
this petition to the Board of County Commissioners. Vote was po!led as
follows: Ayes: Gorham, Skeffington, Hickman~ Brewe~ Kiessel, and Davis.
Nayes: McNeill and Scott.
