JA SON - FILE NO. -89-004 Ms. Munshaw presented staff comments. She stated this petition was to define a Class A Mobile Home as a single family detached dwelling unit which they propose to locate in AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential - 1 du/aC) zoning. She stated the property is on the south side of Angle Road about .6 mile east of Kings Highway; the new Land Use is RU (Residential Urban); and the property is a 12 acre tract with AR-1 zoning to the north, south, east and west. She further stated that the land use in the area was mostly undeveloped or agricultural with some scattered single family dwellings. She further stated that staff has reviewed the petition, feels it would be appropriate to declare this as a Class A Mobile Home single family dwelling, and does recommend approval of the petition. Stephen Tierney, an attorney with Neill, Griffin, Jeffries and Lloyd, appeared on behalf of the petitioner. He stated that the support documents show this would be a new mobile home with 1706 square feet and is for grove and maintenance purposes. Mr. Tierney asked that the Commission accept staff recommendation and approve the petition. Hearing no public comment in favor of or in opposition to the petition, Chairman Terpening closed the public portion of the hearing. After considering the testimony presented during the public hearing, including staff comments, and the standards of review as set forth in Section 2.2.000 (46), St. Lucie County Zoning Ordinance, Mr. Skidmore moved that the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend that the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners grant approval to the petition of Sunbank Treasure Coast, N.A. to define a Class A Mobile Home as a single family dwelling unit in AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential - 1 du/ac) zoning. Motion was seconded by Mrs. King, and upon roll call, the Board voted unanimously in favor of the motion. Chairman Terpening informed the petitioner's representative that the petition will be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners with a recommendation of approval. 5 S gJE T T9 Agenda Item: 5 File Number: MH-89-004 M E M O R.
